Description I have always thought that I am so very different, but reading this, it appears I am not as insane as I thought. Watching the people around me makes me feel so claustrophobic, since everyone lives the same life, as you said. Working, eating, sleeping, marriage, kids... It is all they think about and all they do. Deep in my gut, I have had this strange sensation that I am meant to do more. But being both young and unsure, I have never sought out any others or tried to do anything. Recently, I met a girl my age, and we became fast friends. In a fit a frustration, I vented to her how I feel. I told her that I feel as though there is a battle I should be fighting, but I don't know what. We were both surprised to find that we feel the same way. Our conversations inspired me to look for others. "The Others," we called them, the ones like us.
